Earth Day
“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” – Native American proverb –
In April we come together to celebrate our Mother Earth, also known as Turtle Island. Given the current state of affairs, this can be a bitter sweet time for anyone who cares about the environment. However, we find that taking action helps focus the mind on more positive thoughts. So we push on, working to make things better and take this time to gather and celebrate with the community. Come celebrate with us!
Truly every day is Earth Day for Green Snohomish. As a group we focus on trees, conservation, recycling, proper disposal of materials, cleaning up our environment, and other community service related work. These days, we must strive to protect our environment and improve the habitat in which we live. The good news is, there is more information available today than ever before on environmental issues. We work to bring this information to our community through public events and digital channels (website, Blue Sky, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube).
