Styrofoam and clear bubble wrap recycle event for April of 2022!
We want to help you give styrofoam a second life and keep it out of the landfill.
What we will accept
- Clean Styrofoam Coolers
- Clean Take Out Containers (No food or grease)
- Clean Polyethylene
- Clean Shipping Containers
- Clean Styrofoam Sheets
- Clean and Clear Bubble Wrap
To identify your foam
- Look for the #6 or EPS inside the recycle symbol
- Bend the Material-it should break and snap with loose beads
Your Material Must Be:
- Clean
- Dry
- Free of all type of TAPE and any LABELS
We will be taking the styrofoam and bubble wrap to Styrocycle in Kent, WA. Check out their website for more info.
Where
On the corner of 3rd and G Street in downtown Snohomish. Near the seed library. We will be using a clean yard waste bin that will be labeled with signs.

When is your next Styrofoam recycling event? It looks like you had a Styrofoam recycling event in Jan. 2021. If you are having a Styrofoam collection event somewhere in Snohomish County, I would like to receive details. I have a lot to contribute.

Are you collecting during all of April, or only on the 30th?
We are collecting styrofoam during the entire month of April. Stop by any time and place it in our bin, or if it won’t fit, just put in a garbage bag and place it by the bin. The address is 1604 3rd Street, Snohomish WA, 98290.
I couldn’t find the bin. I will look again.
We have officially ended the styrofoam recycle pickup, but we haven’t taken our last load down to Kent yet. So if you were unable to find the bin in front of our house (1604 3rd Street, in Snohomish), you can drop it off before this coming Wednesday (May 11th), when we’ll be taking that last load down to Kent. Please make sure your styrofoam is in a bag and you can place it in the alley in our driveway (blue garage). Thank you all!
Will you be doing the styrofoam pickup this year?
We do not currently have another styrofoam event planned as of yet. We tend to do them after the winter holidays, given all the packaging at that time of year. Keep an eye on our Facebook though. There are other groups who might be holding events like this and we will pass them along on our Facebook page.
