I have a large number of empty #4 plastic bags that pellets for my pellet stove come in. I make sure that there is no remaining pellets in the bags. I wish to have them properly recycled. how and where can I do this?
Hi Ken, thanks for the question. Your two best options are finding a friend who has Ridwell recycling service (https://www.ridwell.com/), as they do take the plastic film bags. Or you could take the bags to a grocery store where they usually have a bin for recycling plastic grocery bags (usually near the entrance). Unfortunately the Snohomish curbside recycling service through Republic cannot take those bags, as their system is not setup to get them separated from the other recycling materials.
